About Early Access

What is early access?

100 Reasons Early Access is a free email notification service for people interested in being notified when 100 Reasons launches.

What is 100 Reasons?

100 Reasons is a platform for couples to share daily reasons why they love each other. Think of it as a daily love letter delivered to your partner’s phone.

Current Status: Pre-launch. We’re building the product and will notify you when it’s ready.

No Account Required: Early access is just an email list. You don’t need to create an account or provide a password.

Eligibility

To get early access, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have a valid email address
  • Agree to receive occasional emails from us (you can unsubscribe anytime)
  • Agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy

Geographic Restrictions: None. Early access is open to anyone worldwide.

How Early Access Works

What You’ll Receive:

  1. Confirmation Email (Immediate)

    • You must click the confirmation link to get early access (double opt-in)
    • If you don’t confirm within 7 days, your signup expires

  2. Welcome Email (After Confirmation)

    • Explains what 100 Reasons is and what to expect

  3. Milestone Emails (Optional, 2-4 emails before launch)

    • Behind-the-scenes updates
    • Sneak peeks of the product
    • Launch countdown announcements

  4. Launch Email (When We’re Live)

    • Notification that 100 Reasons is now available
    • Link to create your account

What We Won’t Send:

  • Spam or excessive emails
  • Third-party promotions or advertisements
  • Unrelated marketing from other companies

Email Frequency:

  • Before launch: Maximum 2-4 emails (spread over weeks/months)
  • After launch: One final email, then you’re removed from early access
  • No ongoing emails: This is a one-time notification service, not a newsletter

Your Responsibilities

When you get early access, you agree to:

Provide Accurate Information

  • Use a real, valid email address you have access to
  • Don’t use temporary or disposable email addresses (they won’t receive confirmations)
  • Don’t use someone else’s email address without permission

Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Submit fake or fraudulent email addresses
  • Use automated bots or scripts to sign up multiple times
  • Spam the early access form
  • Attempt to hack, abuse, or disrupt the early access service
  • Use early access for any illegal purpose

Consequences of Misuse

If we detect abuse or fraudulent signups, we reserve the right to:

  • Remove you from early access without notice
  • Block your email address from future signups
  • Report illegal activity to appropriate authorities

What We Promise (and Don’t Promise)

What We Promise:

  • ✅ We’ll notify you when 100 Reasons launches
  • ✅ We’ll respect your privacy (see our Privacy Policy)
  • ✅ We’ll let you unsubscribe anytime, no questions asked
  • ✅ We won’t sell or rent your email address to third parties
  • ✅ We’ll send a reasonable number of emails (2-4 before launch)

What We Don’t Promise:

  • ❌ We don’t guarantee a specific launch date
  • ❌ We don’t guarantee the product will launch at all (we hope it will!)
  • ❌ We don’t guarantee you’ll receive every email (email deliverability depends on your email provider)
  • ❌ We don’t guarantee special treatment for early access members
  • ❌ We don’t guarantee any discounts or promotions

Service “As-Is”

Early access is provided “as-is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We make no guarantees about:

  • Email delivery reliability
  • Service availability (our email provider could have downtime)
  • Compatibility with all email clients

Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us.

What data we collect: Email address, consent confirmation, signup timestamp

How we use it: To send you launch notifications

Who we share it with: Buttondown (our email service provider) and Cloudflare (our hosting provider)

Your rights: You can access, export, or delete your data at any time

Unsubscribing

You can unsubscribe from early access at any time:

How to Unsubscribe:

  1. Easy Way: Click the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of any email we send
  2. Manual Way: Email [email protected] with subject “Unsubscribe”

What Happens When You Unsubscribe:

  • You’re removed from early access within 24 hours
  • You won’t receive any more emails from us
  • Your data is deleted within 7 days (see Privacy Policy for details)
  • You can re-subscribe later if you change your mind

No Penalties: Unsubscribing is always free, instant, and no questions asked.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as we develop 100 Reasons.

How We’ll Notify You:

  • Update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page
  • If changes are significant, we’ll email you
  • Continued use of early access after changes means you accept the new Terms

Types of Changes We May Make:

  • Clarifications to existing terms
  • Updates for legal compliance
  • Changes to our email frequency or content
  • Additions for new features or services

Your Options: If you don’t agree with updated Terms, you can unsubscribe at any time.

Limitation of Liability

No Liability for Missed Emails

We’re not responsible if:

  • You don’t receive our emails due to spam filters, email provider issues, or incorrect email addresses
  • You miss the launch because you didn’t check your email
  • You provided an incorrect email address

No Liability for Product Changes

We reserve the right to:

  • Change the product concept, features, or pricing before launch
  • Delay or cancel the launch
  • Decide not to launch at all

Early access is a notification service only, not a purchase commitment or reservation.

No Damages

To the fullest extent permitted by law, 100 Reasons and its team will not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Lost profits or lost data
  • Any damages arising from your use of or inability to use early access
  • Any damages caused by third-party services (Buttondown, Cloudflare, email providers)

Maximum Liability: If we’re found liable for any damages, our maximum liability is $10 USD (the nominal cost of the free service).

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION TO BE DETERMINED].

Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of [JURISDICTION TO BE DETERMINED].

General Provisions

Entire Agreement

These Terms and our Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and 100 Reasons regarding early access.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.

No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms doesn’t constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

Assignment

We may assign these Terms to any successor or affiliate without notice. You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our written consent.
